Very refined pure white sheet in a superb quality of fil de lin linen with a very fancy central monogram JP adorned with lovely embroidered flowers. The central monogram measures 4.5 by 9 inches and exhibits an extraordinary finesse of miniscule points in its bourdon and post point stitching. This piece has a weighty and fluid drape and a slightly silken texture which is delightful against the skin. A very delicate drawn thread hemstitch runs the length of the return border. Although relatively simple in design, this lovely piece is of the utmost quality! Hand-hemmed. 19th c. Dimensions: 110 x 94in.
