Wool Tapestry Table Throw, Late 19th C.

Late 19th c. wool tapestry table throw beautifully woven with a central floral medallion and a baroque overall motif incorportating birds, flowers and golden arabesques in tones of blue, green, gold, beige and pink on a brick orange ground. Two of the edges finish in a 1 inch brown/gold fringe and the remaining two edges are selvaged. Overall very good condittion although several spots, visible in photos, which I've not attempted to remove. Dimensions: 55 x 54in.
