A simple but elegant and beautifully made pillow sham loomed of an excellent quality of weighty pure white "fil de lin" linen. This pretty sham, extra large in size, is decorated around the edges with a double row of delicate and fancy crossed drawn thread embroidery and bordered with a delightful bobbled and scalloped handmade white bobbin lace. It closes at the back with seven mother-of-pearl buttons. Late 19th c. Impeccable condition. Dimensions: exterior 31.5 x 30.5in., interior 26 x 25in.
