A refined elegance and superb quality for this pretty pair of pillow shams in pure white "fil de lin" linen. These shams have a large 1.25" fancy row of Reticello embroidery which forms an interior frame with a beautiful sunburst in each corner where the bands meet. A very delicate crossed drawn thread row finishes each of the four edges and the shams close at the back with five mother-of-pearl buttons. Impeccable condition, superb quality and just so pretty! Early to mid 20th c. Dimensions: exterior 31 x 30.5, interior 26.5 x 26.5in.
