Perfectly elegant and pretty as can be this set of ten very large napkins is loomed of an excellent quality, medium weight, pure white linen damask. A beautiful scrolling monogram, "PP," is meticulously embroidered in the finest plumetis stitches in the center of each piece and encircled by a lush and delicate floral medallion spiked with ears of wheat, the symbol of prosperity and abundance. Tiny single roses make for an overall motif in the damask and a large ornate band of acanthus leaves and flowers frames the border. Hand hemmed. Impeccable condition. Late 19th - early 20th c.
