A rare and adorable baby dress from the roaring twenties! This darling little piece, typical in style and design of the 1920's flapper era, is entirely hand made of a very delicate eggshell white dotted swiss cotton. The hem of the dress as well as each of the side panels are fashioned of a fine silk tulle ribbed with little pin tucks. A tiny band of tulle finishes the collar and the dress fastens at the back with a single mother-of-pearl button. The craftsmanship and construction of this piece, however seemingly simple in design, are remarkably well done and elegant without a single seam or stitch visible in the entire piece!
