An elegant set of three fine linen damask guest hand towels loomed of a luxurious grade of silky white linen with a bold red embroidered monogram "DM." These pretty towels have what's known as the "oeil de perdrix," or eye of the partridge pattern in the damask, a subtle motif of tiny triangles that resembles birds' eyes. The monograms are meticulously stitched in a fine bourdon and the towels have long elegant fringes at both extremities. Likely dating from the early 20th century, this set of three towels is in impeccable condition. A second set of four identical guest towels is available upon request.
