A lovely pair of large pillow shams loomed of a crisp blend of pure white linen and cotton. These pretty shams have a hand embroidered monogram "CL" in one corner, stitched in bourdon embroidery, and an overall elaborate geometric motif of drawn thread work. A sumptuous scalloped border in crocheted white linen frames each sham and gives them a wonderfully romantic touch! These close at the back with five small white glass buttons. Mid 20th century. Impeccable condition. Dimensions: interior 27 x 24in., exterior 36 x 33in.
