A splendidly delicate little infant's baptism gown in the finest and airiest pure white cotton voile. This beautiful gown has a yoke with two rows of inset Valencienne lace and myriad tiny vertical pleats. The short sleeves are puffed, edged in lace, and echo the lace and pleats of the yoke as does the bottom half of the skirt. This very pretty little gown closes at the back with three tiny mother-of-pearl buttons and is in impeccable condition. Early to mid 20th century. Dimensions: length 30in., shoulder width 9in., chest width 15in., bottom of skirt width 29in.
