A perfectly beautiful service of twelve large pure white "fil de lin" linen damask napkins. These lovely napkins are made of a finely loomed medium to heavy grade of crisp white linen with a slight but soft sheen. They show an overall pattern in the damask of delicate wildflowers with a border motif of sumptuous bows with curling ribbons. This beautiful service likely dates from the mid 20th century and was in new condition at the time of its purchase. They've been washed once to freshen them up but are otherwise in perfect condition. Hand hemmed. Dimensions: 32.5x 29in.
