An set of three luxuriously large vintage kitchen towels hand loomed of a wonderfully rustic but refined blend of ecru linen and nettle. Nettle, a rarely used fiber, adds a slightly silky quality to the linen as well as a very faint sheen. These wonderfully rustic but supple towels were hand loomed, likely in the home, and are decorated with a thin blue stripe down either side. They bear the initals, "PB," embroidered in red cross stitch in one corner and which stand for Pierre Bouniols, born in 1903. These towels are in impeccable condition. Dimensions: 40 x 28in.
