A rare Art Deco period infant dress in true roaring 20's style! This darling little piece was created in ecru tulle and embroidered with scallop shell borders at the neckline, bodice, sleeves and skirt hem. The bodice and the border of the skirt are decorated with tiny vertical pin tucks interspersed with an embroidered polka dot teardrop motif executed in bourdon. Three tiny mother-of-pearl buttons fasten at the back. This charming little dress, entirely hand stitched and in perfect condition, is rare for its typically art deco style. Dimensions: overall length 23.5in., width across chest 12in. Suitable for a child of two to four years.
