A stunning service of twelve large dinner napkins loomed of a medium weight and very silken grade of pure white linen damask. These lovely napkins have a large central monogram "PG" that is woven into the pattern of the damask and surrounded by large bouquets of daisies in the damask motif. A decorative lacy frieze which repeats the daisy theme frames the border of each napkin and the hems are hand stitched with miniscule points. The fact that the monogram is incorporated into the damask design indicates that this fabric was custom designed and woven for the family that owned the service! Impeccable condition.
