Ecru very fine linen sheet with a large raised central monogram JPR in plumetis embroidery typical of the art deco motifs of the 30's and 40's. Extraordinary for its age, this sheet is in new, unused condition. Traces of the blue chalk used by the embroideress to "pencil in" the letters of the monogram are still visible and will, of course, wash out after several launderings. A four inch insert of white cotton bobbin lace runs along the entire length of the return. Early to mid 20th c. Hand-hemmed. Dimensions: 126 x 86.5
