Full of art deco charm, this very pretty banquet tablecloth and nine very large napkin set is loomed of a fine and silky pure white linen damask. The tablecloth, with an overall motif of small polka dots, has an inner frieze of cheerful stylized daisies followed by a wonderfully stylized floral frieze. Two very large, pretty and ornate monograms, "MV," are hand embroidered in relief to the right and left of the center of the cloth. The nine napkins, from a similar but not identical damask, have an overall pattern of small polka dots, and the surounding frieze is one of pretty, open roses. Their embroidered monograms, although having the same relative shape as those on the tablecloth, are stitched in a fine bourdon and post point. Three photos illustrate the cloth and three are of the napkins. The entire service is hand hemmed and in excellent condition. Dimensions: tablecloth 114 x 79in, napkins 35.5 x 29in.
