A lovely and unusual set of nine large napkins loomed of an extremely fine and silky pure white "fil de lin" linen. These napkins have a graceful cutwork central motif in Richelieu embroidery with an elegant monogram"LF" embroidered in a fine, scrolling bourdon underneath. The edges are finished by a delicate hemstitch. These napkins are in excellent condition with only a few brides here and there to secure and they likely date from 1920 - 1930's.
