As refined as it's beautiful this extra large pillow sham is loomed of an exqisitely fine ecru "fil de lin" linen. A very pretty monogram, "JL," embroidered in tige and post point is accented by sprigs with leaves and berries embroidered in bourdon, all of which occupies one corner of the sham. The border is finished by a delicate hemstitch, and a simply beautiful luxueil lace surrounds the piece. Closure at the back with six mother-of-pearl buttons. This sham came from the estate of a very well to do Provencale family and was part of a large trousseau of the very finest quality linens. Impeccable, unused condition.
