A pristine and top quality pillow sham loomed of a weighty and excellent quality of pure white "fil de lin" linen. This superb piece has a central monogram "LD" executed in a lovely scrolling script and embroidered in a perfect bourdon with little flowers embellishing each letter. A large 3.25in. lacy scalloped border of very finely executed crochet lace surrounds the sham and it closes at the back with seven mother-of-pearl buttons. Impeccable, possibly never used condition.
