Perfection in every detail, this gorgeous set of fourteen extra large dinner napkins is loomed of a pure white linen damask with a silken hand, a delicate sheen and an excellent damask separation. The motif, of open-faced roses, shows a floral wreath at its center, a wide floral frame and an elegant band of leafy scrolls defining the perimeter. Each napkin is is adorned in one corner with an exquisite monogram, GP, embroidered with truly remarkable precision in high relief, the letters each ornamented with a rose bud in its center and stylized fleurs de lys (indicating noble provenance) at the extremities of each vertical axis. Their important dimensions, measuring almost a full yard in width of such a luxurious grade of linen, indicate that there was no skimping on expense when this set was originally ordered!
