This beautiful pair of pillow shams is loomed of a luxurious grade of pure white "fil de lin" linen with a soft drape and a silken texture. They're each adorned with a very fancy monogram, "EG," perfectly embroidered in one corner in an important relief of bourdon and accented with tiny sprigs of leaves and berries. An unusualy large and fancy drawn thread row of embroidery borders each sham and they close at the back with five mother-of-pearl buttons. Likely dating from the early 20th century these shams are in impeccable condition. Dimensions: interior 27.5 x 26.5in., exterior 32.5 x 31.5in.
