A splendid antique pillow sham featuring a magnificent central monogram, "LV," embroidered in relief and adorned with a spray of cutwork lilacs. This lovely piece is loomed of a very fine grade of pure white and tightly loomed cotton, smooth yet crisp to the touch. The sham has a gracefully scalloped border with cutwork flowers embroidered in each scallop and it closes at the back with six mother-of-pearl buttons. Likely dating from the early 20th century, this beautiful sham is in perfect, as-new condition! Dimensions: interior 25 x 23.5in., exterior 31.5 x 30in.
