A contrasting three-part border frieze is made up of an inner ribbon with a leaf motif, a central wider band with alternating architectural elements and rose-bud sprays, and an outer Greek key frame. Each napkin is adorned with an important central monogram, "JG," embroidered with the precision of an expert hand in satin stitch and garnished with pretty sprigs of leaves and berries.
