A little marvel of an antique infant dress likely dating from the turn of the 20th century. This precious creation is hand made of a fine, cream colored silk tulle and is embroidered with a motif of large roses, typical of the Art Deco period, that ring both the skirt of the dress and its broad cape-style collar. As the tulle is sheer, it likely was intended to be worn over a silk underslip. (If desired, there is the possibility of adding a custom silk lining for an additional $100). The dress closes at the back with six tiny snaps. Impeccable condition. Dimensions: overall length 22in., width across the chest 11.5in. Suitable for an infant of 15 to 24 months old.
