A delightful pair of antique pillow shams loomed of a pure white and crisp linen/cotton blend. These pretty shams are monogrammed "LC," the letters finely executed in a fancy bourdon and embellished with tiny sprigs with leaves and berries. A large and elaborately scalloped border frames each sham and is itself re-embroidered with small flowers in English cutwork. Four tiny glass buttons close the envelope at the back. Likely dating from the turn of the 20th century, these lovely pillow shams are in impeccable condition. Dimensions: interior 23.5 x 22.5in., exterior 30 x 29in.
